EVAN WATTERSON
His love of maths, science, and the physical world took Evan to study engineering through the University of New South Wales. Initially uncertain where the subject would take him, once he discovered the existence of coastal engineering as a discipline, he knew that was the right path for him.
Evan is a keen appreciator of the powerful connection between people and places. Drawn to the ocean and its communities, he’s most excited by projects which facilitate respectful maintenance and improvement of integral coastal cultures.
After fifteen years of managing teams, Evan’s work has seen him emerge as a passionate, dedicated principle engineer. He enjoys seeking out innovative ways to investigate coastal environments, and is always keen to deliver quality technical work and – ultimately – a functional outcome for the community and the places they love.
